Help Voter Choice reach the people it was built for.
Voter Choice helps people start with the issues they care about, examine congressional voting and campaign-funding records, and make their own scorecard before familiar names and campaign messaging take over.
The current congressional version is live. The next stretch is not a new-feature roadmap. It is a focused adoption and distribution phase: getting Voter Choice to early users, learning where it succeeds or fails, and improving the experience so more people can use it confidently.
During this period, I will:
- Introduce Voter Choice to early adopters and aligned communities
- Create clear explanations and materials that make it easier to share
- Learn from how real people use the product
- Fix usability, accessibility, and trust problems that prevent adoption
- Keep the existing congressional evidence current and handle corrections
- Maintain the product through the election period
- Report what happened and what the evidence suggests should happen next
Major new features, custom integrations, and funder-directed product work are not part of this phase.
The largest cost is founder time.
The software itself is inexpensive to host. Researching and maintaining the evidence, supporting distribution, creating content, learning from users, improving the experience, and responding responsibly during an election all require sustained work.
The remaining budget covers appropriate infrastructure, distribution, specialist review, payment or administrative fees, and contingency.

Backers support the same defined phase. The standard exchange includes:
- A written scope, work period, and set of intended outputs
- Two concise progress updates
- An end-of-phase report with aggregate learning and next-step decisions
- One shared backer walkthrough or briefing
- Optional public acknowledgement
Multiple backers may support the same phase. Backing does not create a separate private roadmap for each funder.
Backing Voter Choice does not provide:
- Preferential treatment of any candidate or political position
- Control over methodology, scoring, sources, or corrections
- Access to individual user information
- Political endorsement
- Exclusive access or ownership
- Control of the product roadmap
- Custom product development
- Ownership of Voter Choice or its underlying work
Material backing and relevant conflicts will be disclosed appropriately.
This conversation may fit philanthropic individuals, foundations, civic organizations, and other institutions interested in nonpartisan access to public political information, voter agency, public-interest technology, or responsible civic distribution.
Every prospective backer is reviewed for fit, conflicts, restrictions, and election-integrity concerns before funding is accepted.
This is not an equity offering, sponsorship menu, or commissioned-feature service.

If funding arrives too late to support the planned pre-election work, I will propose a revised scope and calendar before accepting restricted funds.
